Summer Youth Fund 2022

June 1, 2022 - United Way of Greater New Haven (UWGNH) awarded $225,000 in grants to 26 youth agencies in the second year of its Summer Youth Fund. Funded agencies will focus on enhancing their summer programming by providing young people with safe, in-person interactions with their peers; opportunities to build trusted relationships with adults and mentors, and support to recover from pandemic isolation and trauma by rebuilding critical social and emotional skills. Grant recipients will participate in the Greater New Haven Youth Network and be able to collaborate and learn from other youth agencies across the region and take advantage of network trainings and opportunities.
